Cane Bay High Media Specialist
I graduated from Stratford High in 1998 and returned to teach in BCSD in 2008 where I spent 10 years teaching social studies at Cane Bay High.
The next part of my education journey led me to receive a master’s degree in education in library science from the University of West Alabama. In 2019, I was honored to be asked back to CBH as a librarian.
I love working in the media center where I can help students find books they love and become critical consumers of media. Another part of my job I love is assisting teachers day-to-day.
When I am not at work, I enjoy going on history tours with my son, playing with our cat and dog, working on embroidery, reading psych thrillers and watching classic television shows like "Perry Mason." Also, I am very passionate about community service and teacher advocacy.

Cane Bay High Media Assistant
I started working at Cane Bay High in 2022. In 2023, I joined the media center as the media assistant. I love interacting with students and staff, and hope to have a positive impact on them. I want to encourage students to live up to their highest potential.
I enjoy reading thrillers, realistic fiction and fantasy! I prefer to change it up between the genres for a variety of reading experiences.
