Horatio Alger Scholarships
If integrity, determination, and courage describe you - you have what it takes to be a Horatio Alger Scholar. Our scholarships reward students who possess the character to succeed in life. We help students overcome the financial barriers of pursuing higher education. The Horatio Alger Association honors the achievements of outstanding individuals in our society who have succeeded in spite of adversity and who are committed to supporting young people in pursuit of increased opportunities through higher education.
Criteria: Be enrolled full time as a high school in the United States; Exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a bachelor’s degree at an accredited non-profit public or private institution in the United States (students may start their studies at a two-year institution and then transfer to a four-year institution); Demonstrate critical financial need ($55,000 or lower adjusted gross family income is required); Be involved in co-curricular and community service activities; Display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity; Maintain a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0; and Be a United States citizen

National Technical Honors Society Scholarships
Since 2005, NTHS has awarded over $2 million in scholarships! It is our belief that CTE students must be supported and encouraged to seek continued education and training in today's highly competitive global community. NTHS has partnered with the following CTSO and Industry Partners in a national effort to recognize achievement and provide additional scholarship opportunities to our members.

Trident Tech and TTC Foundation Scholarships
Description: Trident Technical College and the TTC Foundation offer more than 120 scholarships with more than $300,000 in scholarship money awarded every year. The next application period for the 21-22 academic year will open January 2021.

S.C. Scholarships
The Palmetto Fellows Scholarship is a merit-based program recognizing the most academically talented high school seniors and encouraging these students to attend college in the state. Palmetto Fellows may receive up to $6,700 their freshman year and up to $7,500 for their sophomore, junior and senior years. Half of the scholarship is awarded in the fall term and half in the spring term. The scholarship must be applied directly toward the cost of attendance, less any other gift aid received. Eligible Palmetto Fellows may receive scholarship funding for a maximum of eight full‑time terms of study toward their first bachelor’s degree at an eligible four-year institution in South Carolina.
