To the maximum extent practical, meals, foods and beverages served at school will be consistent with the nutrition recommendations of the U.S. Dietary Guidelines for Americans.
To the maximum extent practical, Sangaree will participate in available federal school meal programs, including the School Breakfast Program and the National School Lunch Program.
Sangaree will provide nutrition education and physical education (as required by the Student Health and Fitness Act, 2005) to foster lifelong habits of healthy eating and physical activity.
