Sangaree Intermediate School is creating students that fit the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate. Our students develop world class skills, life and career characteristics because we provide innovative programs based on current research. Our goal is to provide a well-rounded education for each one of our students.

We are so grateful to be a Leader in Me School. Leader in Me is an evidence-based comprehensive school improvement model developed in partnership with educators and Franklin Covey that empowers students with the leadership and life skills they need to thrive in the real world.

Our school has chosen to operate through a uniquely different lens. Leader in Me is about empowering our students to reach their full potential while ultimately finding their voice. As a school, the staff members in our building have made five core commitments to our students. We call these our Core Paradigms. In these paradigms, you will find the belief and way we view all students. At Sangaree Intermediate School we see that: everyone is a leader, everyone has genius, and change starts with me.

We continue to build on empowering students to lead their own learning and strengthening family partnerships in developing the whole person.

As each child discovers their own unique talents and gifts, they are given opportunities to lead. As leaders they can become actively engaged partners in their own education, and their self-confidence, responsibility, and initiative will grow. 

We are proud of the dedication our teachers show every day! They work hard to provide the most engaging lessons for your children in a safe and loving environment. They work long hours creating materials, learning new ways to engage students and making contact with families to build strong relationships. We are proud to have our fabulous faculty that lead like champions every day!

Our office staff, support staff, and administrative team field phone calls, make countless contact, and conduct home visits to families to provide support to families who are in need.
