My promise to you as your student’s school counselor…

I will be an advocate for all students. I want not only my teachers to believe in the children they teach, but for my students to believe in themselves. There are certain things in life we can’t control. I promise to help my students learn and understand ways they can handle the unexpected and uncontrollable events. Most of all, I promise to make sure every student knows they are loved, they matter, and that they are enough.

School counselor responsibilities…

Throughout the school year, I will offer individual and small group services for all students. I am also available to provide parent consultations and community resource referrals. These services promote personal and social growth, which in turn, raise academic standards. All of our students will participate in guidance lessons each month. We will focus on various themes and activities. My lessons will encourage development in academics, career exploration, and positive personal, emotional, and social growth. We are a team, focused on what is best for our students, so your support and encouragement at home is greatly appreciated!
