Berkeley County School District administrators, board members, officers, principals, teachers and more came together last week to celebrate the tremendous impact left by its 2023 retirees.
Last Thursday, the district celebrated 135 retirees, who put in a combined 3,140 years worth of work toward making a positive difference in the lives of children. These retirees were recognized with a special dinner provided by BCSD's Child Nutrition Services in Westview Middle's multipurpose room.
Retirees were joined by family members, friends and colleagues as the district acknowledged the many years of hard work demonstrated by these influential individuals.
