With only seven instructional days left in the 2022-2023 school year, our first-year teachers are breathing a sigh of relief for persevering through Year 1!
Transitioning from being a student yourself, either in college or a teacher certification program, to actually leading a classroom is always a big shift for rookie teachers. Nevertheless, they persisted!
To mark this major personal and professional accomplishment, our Office of Educator Effectiveness hosted an End of Year Celebration for all our first-year teachers on Tuesday night. Teachers were treated to dinner and a show from Goose Creek High's Creekapella as they relaxed and celebrated with their principals and fellow rookie teachers.
