student building structure with tubes

With state testing done and summer around the corner, normally the last week of school is filled with movies and cleaning up the classroom, but Mount Holly Elementary had different plans. During two days of the last week of school, MHE invited the Children's Museum of the Lowcountry's Pop Up Tinker Shop (PUTS) for students of all grade levels to visit.

The PUTS brings STEM-based toys and activities for students to interact and play with so they can experience STEM learning in a fun and hands-on way. Students could play with simple circuits, dinosaur bones, coding caterpillars, ball walls and much more.

Students had a blast building and tinkering away!
