Berkeley County School District is proud of Christina Wilder, a Head Start teacher at Whiteville Elementary, for being selected as WCBD News 2's Cool School Teacher of the Week.
Wilder is extremely passionate about early childhood education and attended WES herself when she was a child. Even while battling thyroid cancer, she continued to give her all to her students and try to make a positive difference in their lives.
She was nominated by Shakara Milligan, a parent of one of the students in her class, to receive this award.
