Earlier this month, five Berkeley County School District middle schools participated in SCMEA's Choral Performance Assessment. Choirs were judged on their sight-singing and performance capabilities.
Judges could give choirs a rating of Poor, Fair, Good, Excellent or Superior for their performance. Four of the five choirs received the highest rating possible in the competition, Superior with Distinction.
