Last Friday, six Berkeley County School District high schools participated in SCMEA's Choral Performance Assessment. High school choirs were judged on their sight-singing and performance capabilities. Schools could have multiple ensembles perform at the assessment.
Judges could give choirs a rating of Poor, Fair, Good, Excellent or Superior during the assessment. Choirs received a Superior with Distinction when the judges unanimously gave them a Superior rating.
