On October 9, 2024, Berkeley County School District broke ground on a new elementary school on Black Tom Road. School board members, elected officials and BCSD chief officers were all in attendance to witness this historic event. Whitesville Elementary School students also performed two songs at the event.
Once completed, this 163,000 square-foot school will be another world-class facility for BCSD's students and parents.
