As 2024 comes to an end, everyone is thinking about what they would like to accomplish in the new year.

Anyone looking for inspiration is encouraged to check out the goals and ideas that Courtney Lambert’s fourth graders at Devon Forest Elementary came up with before Winter Break.

The class penned their New Year's resolutions on worksheets that started with the sentence “I can’t yet but this year I will...” They also jotted down some personal goals for school and at home – lots of great ideas about staying healthy, working hard at school, listening to their teacher and getting along with their siblings.

Some students want to try out a new sport. Some want to improve in specific school subjects. There is even a pretty ambitious plan to attain a Master’s Degree in there.
