🎉 The Teacher Cadets program at Berkeley High School is thrilled to announce this year’s recipients of the prestigious Teaching Fellows award! 📸 Pictured from left to right: Karson Steele, awarded a fellowship from Charleston Southern University, will pursue a degree in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Klein, Teacher Cadets program instructor. Alyssa Archer, awarded a fellowship from Anderson University, will study Special Education. Emily Moon, awarded a fellowship from the Honors College at the University of South Carolina, plans to major in History and pursue Secondary Education. The Teaching Fellows Program aims to attract exceptional high school seniors into the teaching profession and nurture their leadership potential. Each year, a select group of students across South Carolina is awarded fellowships based on academic excellence, service to school and community, and a strong commitment to teaching. Teaching Fellows enjoy enriching experiences at their chosen institutions, including specialized programs, professional development, and meaningful community engagement. Each recipient receives up to $24,000 in fellowship funding (up to $6,000 annually for four years) while earning their degree and certification. 👏 Congratulations to these outstanding Stags! We are so proud of your achievements and excited to see the incredible impact you’ll make as future educators! 💛🖤
