Attention Parents / Guardians:
Following a review of 2023-2024 new student registrations for Cane Bay Elementary, we are pleased to announce the lottery process will not be needed for those registered for kindergarten by April 20, 2023.
Students registering for kindergarten at CBE after April 20th, will be placed on a timestamped waitlist (if necessary) as any remaining spots are claimed. If your child is placed on the kindergarten waitlist, you will be notified.
Please understand that this availability in grade level capacity is specific to kindergarten at CBE and does not impact students on waitlists for first through fourth grade.
Again, the kindergarten lottery will not be required for the upcoming school year at CBE as all students registered prior to the lottery deadline of 11:59 p.m. on April 20, 2023 can be accommodated. As we anticipate continued growth in the Cane Bay area, the kindergarten lottery will remain in place, as needed, for the 2023-2024 school year.
