The Cane Bay High School Choirs will present their 16th Annual Fall Concert on Monday, September 30 at 7:00 p.m. in the Cane Bay High School auditorium. This concert will feature the Cane Bay High School Concert Choirs along with members of the Cane Bay Middle School and Carolyn Lewis School eighth grade choruses.

They will present a concert of traditional and contemporary choral music including: Sing A Mighty Song by Daniel Gawthrop; Kyrie from Missa Brevis in D by Wolfgang Amedeus Mozart; I Wanna Be Ready by Brandon Boyd; Audivi Vocem by John Taverner; Angus Dei by Ernesto Herrera; And Miriam Sang by Zebulon Highben; Wake Up My Spirit by Adolphus Hailstork and much more!

The Cane Bay Choirs consist of 165 students in grades 9-12 who perform multiple concerts and community performances annually. Recognized for their passion in singing and high performance level, the Cane Bay Choirs consistently earn top ratings and rankings at choral festivals across the country.

Students in the Cane Bay Choirs are also participate in numerous honor choirs -- such as the National and Regional ACDA Honor Choirs, SCMEA All-State Choirs, the SCACDA State Honor Choirs, the BCSD District Honor Choir and the Solo and Ensemble festival. The Cane Bay Choirs have given performances in the Washington National Cathedral, Piccolo Spoleto Festival, Festival Disney and the Southern Star music festival.

Cobra Chorale and Vox Bellator have been selected for numerous conference performances including the 2020 and 2016 Southern Region ACDA Conferences, and multiple SCMEA and SC ACDA Conferences for each group.

These musically talented students are excited to once again share their gift with the greater Cane Bay and Summerville community.
