Last week, five Berkeley County School District schools participated in SCMEA's Orchestra Concert Performance Assessment. High school orchestras were judged on their sight-reading and performance capabilities. Sight-reading was optional for the middle schools who participated.
Judges could give orchestras a rating of Poor, Fair, Good, Excellent or Superior during the competition. Schools received a Superior with Distinction when the judges unanimously gave them a Superior rating.
