Due to the potential for severe weather expected this evening, the Berkeley County Board of Education meeting, originally scheduled for Monday, August 5, has been rescheduled for Monday, August 12. At this time, no adjustments have been made to school office or district office schedules.
We are working closely with Berkeley County Emergency Management and are receiving regular updates about the weather from the National Weather Service. We will continue to monitor the forecasts to determine if we need to make any adjustments to our school office or district office schedules. Any changes to operations will be communicated via our normal communication platforms.
As safety and security is our number one priority, officials will continue to monitor the weather and assess any resulting damage.
