Congratulations to our 5th graders for having the least amount of tardies for the month of March! The entire 5th grade student body spent a portion of their afternoon eating popsicles and playing with their friends!

Last week, GCE celebrated Read Across America! The students enjoyed watching silly videos of GCE staff reading their favorite stories, they enjoyed dressing up as their favorite book character, but they REALLY loved being read to by Goose Creek High School students!

The BCSD Student, Teacher, and Parent Climate Surveys window opened on Monday March 3rd and will close Friday March 21st. All students in grades 3-12 and all teachers, librarians, guidance counselors, ROTC instructors, career specialists, and speech therapists are expected to participate in the survey. Mrs. Troutman was recognized at tonight's BCSD board meeting. She is officially the Goose Creek Elementary's teacher of the year! Way to go Mrs. Troutman!
