Due to forecasts for severe weather resulting in possible flood conditions, Berkeley County School District (BCSD) schools and offices will transition to virtual operations Tuesday, August 6 through Thursday, August 8. All extracurricular activities, athletics, and school programs are canceled Tuesday, August 6, Wednesday, August 7, and Thursday, August 8.
BCSD leaders are working closely with Berkeley County Emergency Management and are receiving regular updates about the weather from the National Weather Service. As safety and security is our number one priority, officials will continue to monitor the weather and assess any resulting damage.
