Scout came to visit last week and met some of his reading buddies for this school year. We are so excited to have him back at HBE for another year. Check out those smiling faces!

Two of our favorite ladies from Mt. Carmel AME Church joined us last Friday to read with some of our first graders. We were so blessed to have them with us, and our first graders really enjoyed reading and sharing stories.

Every Friday, Bonner students have the opportunity to cash in their Bonner bucks for fun prizes and passes. They can purchase things like a hat day, pajama day, eat lunch with a friend, go to recess with a friend from another class, and many more options. They earn Bonner bucks throughout the weeks, save up, and cash in for some fun.
