Local graduating seniors were invited to come and participate in a special Grad Walk at Hanahan Elementary this morning.
These were not just any graduates, though; these are seniors who previously attended Hanahan Elementary as young children. VIEW PHOTOS
The graduates were supported with orange and blue pompoms, banners, noise makers and high fives as they paraded in front of the school building. They were then treated to Chic Fil A biscuits and a few emotional reunions with their former elementary teachers who still work in the building.
Hanahan High's graduates will don their caps and gowns again in two weeks when they cross the big stage at the North Charleston Coliseum.
Way to go, graduates -- and a special reminder to Hanahan Elementary students to keep working hard; their Graduation Day will be here before they know it.
