Four students from Howe Hall AIMS represented at All County Choir. Emma Lizzie Robinson, Cassie Welch, Libby Bennett, and Sofia Grasso sang at Goose Creek High School with 180 other elementary students. They had extra rehearsals at school and two days of rehearsals at Goose Creek High School. Way to go girls! We are so proud of you! 🤖📏 Fifth graders participated in a technology infusion on Wednesday with Ms. Eileen, our Innovative Learning Coordinator. Students learned to use precision in partitioning whole number models into fractional parts using the Ozobot. Students had to measure how large the model was, divide to find the size of each fractional part, problem solve to describe the direction that the robot had to take tp move (either 90* or -90*), and use the "speak" code to describe the quotient. 🤖📏
The banner is back where it belongs! Because our students had the most growth in their i-Ready reading scores over the first semester, our school is an i-Ready Super once again!
Our 4th graders recently completed a "Decades of Dance" unit. They were assigned a Decade (anywhere from 1920-2010), and then they had to research their decade. They then created a presentation by choosing an option from a choice board. Their options were: choreography creations, costume design, mini/large poster, poetry, artistic artwork or storytelling. Super proud of their creative presentations!

Howe Hall AIMS students had a great day today jumping rope during the Kids Heart Challenge Finale. They raised over $18,000 for the American Heart Association. Students practiced their jumping skills in their PE class while learning the importance of staying fit while having a healthy heart. Thank you so much to everyone who came and cheered on our chameleons! Don't forget donations are open for a few more days!
February is National Children's Dental Health Month, so Dr. Jessie Robinson from Robinson Family Dentistry came a visit with our kindergarten and first graders on Friday. Dr. Robinson taught students about good dental health habits. All our students brought home a bag full of tools to help them put what they learned into practice. Thank you Dr. Robinson!

Congratulations to our 5th graders, fine arts team and 5th grade teachers on their incredible show this evening, Disney's Nemo Jr.! Our team worked tirelessly over the last few months to create an amazing show. We are so proud of all our students and very thankful to have such excellent teachers at HHA!
We had another great duty free lunch today. PTA also provided a DELICIOUS lunch for our faculty and staff. We are so thankful to have such a supportive PTA at HHA!
Today we went on a school wide field trip to see our Fifth Grade show, Disney's Nemo Jr. It was a fantastic experience for everyone, the performance showcased vibrant characters and memorable songs, captivating both students and staff. A heartfelt thank you to the PTA for providing treats for our 5th graders, who were celebrated with a traditional HHA clap out after the show. It was a wonderful opportunity for our school!

Our 5th graders had an incredible virtual workshop with Broadway stars Jared Bradshaw and Lindsay Northern! With over a decade on Broadway and now performing in Finding Nemo: The Big Blue…and Beyond!, they shared their expertise and coached our young performers as they prepare for their upcoming show, Finding Nemo JR
It was an unforgettable experience filled with inspiration, tips, and a whole lot of fun! A huge thank you to Jared and Lindsay for bringing a bit of Broadway to our students! 🌟
