On Friday, Mount Holly Elementary's multi-purpose room was packed with local veterans to watch MHE's "A Salute to Veterans: Honoring All Who Served."
The program was run by student leaders, Kaelynn Ancrum and Alaysia Reid.
Students put on musical and spoken word performances to honor and show gratitude for the service and sacrifices veterans made to protect our country. Students also acknowledged the veterans that work at MHE during the performance.
Following the program, students lined the halls, American flags waving, to salute and cheer on the veterans as they left the school.
