Last week, seven Berkeley County School District middle school bands participated in SCMEA's Concert Performance Assessment. Groups were judged on both their performance and sight reading capabilities.
Judges could give bands a rating of Poor, Fair, Good, Excellent or Superior for their assessment. If a band received a Superior from all the judges, they were awarded the highest possible rating, Superior with Distinction.

Marrington Middle School of the Arts Honor Band- Superior with Distinction
Sangaree Middle Wind Orchestra- Superior with Distinction
Sedgefield Middle Symphonic Band- Excellent
Westview Middle Honor Band- Superior with Distinction
