Philip Simmons Middle sixth grader Cullen South is leading a special project next week, and the elementary and high schools are encouraged to help out!
South is being featured as part of Berkeley County School District's Difference Maker series for his efforts to gather books and teddy bears to donate to children in need. Read story.
The Philip Simmons community is invited to donate books and bears in good condition to the schools; donations can be made from March 11-21.
There will be boxes set up at the front offices of Philip Simmons Middle and Philip Simmons Elementary. High school students can drop items off at Taylor South's class in room 204.
