Edward “Eddie” Sellars has been named head coach of Timberland High School's softball team. Coach Sellars returns to THS where he served as assistant softball coach last season. He is originally from Old Hickory, Tennessee, just outside of Nashville, TN. Coach Sellars has been an educator and coach since 2014. Prior to becoming an educator, he served 10 years in the U.S. Army. He and his family moved to Macedonia two years ago. Coach Sellars is married to Mrs. Kristi Sellars. They have four beautiful daughters – Addison (10th grade) and Blakely, Millie Grace, and Mackenzie attend Macedonia Middle School.

Coach Sellars’s vision for the program is as follows: “We want to develop student athletes on and off the field that will someday be productive young women in the community. We want to create a “sisterhood” among the players as we forge a team that is committed to a relentless pursuit of excellence in all that we do on and off the field.”

He is excited about his opportunity to lead the Timberland Lady Wolves Softball program. Coach Sellars is hosting an interest meeting on Tuesday, October 29th at 2:05 p.m. in Timberland's auditorium to meet potential players and answer any questions. There will an interest meeting at Macedonia Middle and St. Stephen Middle at a later date and time
