Congratulations to Wyatt Thames, 2025 STATE CHAMPION, 106-pound weight class. Wyatt wrestled a smart, tough Finals match to claim a 8-5 decision over Liberty's Jacob Keaton.
In only his second year of wrestling, Wyatt has demonstrated that hard work, a desire to improve, and a willingness to learn can lead to accomplishing one of his goals by becoming Timberland's 6th State Champion!
Also, congratulations goes out to Avery Thames for earning All-State Honors by placing 4th in the 132-pound weight class. Avery is a Senior this year and has been a leader all season long, and he wrestled well during and at the end of the season by becoming a State Placer!
Finally, congrats to Sean Brown (144) and Owen Berrios (157) for representing Timberland well by wrestling tough, earning a couple of wins, and nearly placing. Both are Juniors and are looking to be Senior leaders next year.
