The BCSD Student, Teacher, and Parent Climate Surveys window opened on Monday March 3rd and will close Friday March 21st. All students in grades 3-12 and all teachers, librarians, guidance counselors, ROTC instructors, career specialists, and speech therapists are expected to participate in the survey. In honor of Black History Month, Superintendent Dixon paid Westview Primary a visit to read a biographical children’s book about Harriet Tubman, an American hero who escaped slavery and helped save other enslaved people via the Underground Railroad.

In response to ongoing forecasts for wintry weather, to include the potential for snow, Berkeley County School District (BCSD) announced that schools will follow the half-day dismissal bell schedule on Tuesday, January 21.
