This week we hosted our first-ever MLK Observation Breakfast for over 100 BCSD employees and prominent community members. The breakfast also served as a moment to publicly recognize and reward our students who placed in this year's Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Contest. Eva "Cate" Angle, an eighth grader at Daniel Island School, earned the top spot at our district spelling bee last night after correctly spelling the word cauterize! She, along with eight more BCSD students, will head to the regional bee in March. Best of luck!
