The Renaissance Team has been promoting Thankfulness the entire month of November. Students and staff had the ability to show what they are thankful for on the leaves that were used to create a Thankfulness Tree. The Renaissance students wrote thankfulness cards to staff members and hand delivered to their teachers that they were thankful for. We all have so much to be thankful for and we are so Thankful for our Amazing Students and Staffulty. #BetterAtBerkeley

What an afternoon of learning and laughter at Fridays professional development session! Teachers dove deep into collaborative review strategies, unlocking new ways to engage students and enhance peer feedback in Ms. Klein's PD sessions. Teachers walked away with interactive and practical review tools to implement this EOC/Finals season. But here’s the real twist—the PD session included a surprising mix of educational insights and a little Notorious B.I.G 🎤 Who knew professional development could be this much fun? Huge thanks to everyone for bringing your positive energy—let’s keep the momentum going as we work to inspire and empower our students! #betteratberkeley

Juniors it is time to schedule your IGPs with your school counselor. Students should log into their counselor’s Schoology account and look for the link to You Can Book Me. It’s especially important for students who plan to do dual credit classes next year to schedule their IGP conference soon so that they can start the application process. Contact the School Counseling Office if you have any questions.

The first BHS Academic Rally was an absolute blast. We had over 900 students qualify for the rally, and the entire rally was student led by our very own Renaissance Team. The students played games, watched an amazing band performance, learned new chants with the cheerleaders, and finished the rally with the Alma Mater. Everything is #BetteratBerkeley.
