Hello Cobras!
Let the competitions begin between each of our 47 schools and District Office Staff!
We’re excited to announce that Cane Bay Middle is participating in a Double Good popcorn fundraiser with the BCSD Teacher Forum to raise money for student scholarships. Please copy and paste the following link https://popup.doublegood.com/s/8m7qm36h to order gourmet popcorn and support students in the process!
Schools are competing to raise the most money, so share this link with everyone you know! We’re excited to see who will head our leaderboard for the 2024 Fall Teacher Forum Fundraiser. Foxbank Elementary earned bragging rights last year for winning the 2023 fundraiser! The funds we raise will support two student scholarships for eligible high school seniors and will be awarded in the spring of 2025.
Fundraising window: October 30th to November 3rd at 5:00 p.m.
Thank you for your support!

The CBM School Improvement Council is excited to announce a FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT for our 5th and 6th-grade families on October 24th! The event is free - bring your lawn chair and settle in for Hocus Pocus in our Gym on the big screen. Cash concessions stand. An adult must accompany all students - groups welcome!

CBM's participation in the Oct. 9th national Walk and Roll to school event was a success. Students had the opportunity to walk/bike or scooter to school as a way to have a healthier more active way to get to school. Once at school, our student-led wellness committee had fruits, snacks, and water for students who walked, biked, or scooted to school. Thank you to all who participated. We look forward to seeing your participation at our spring event!

Arrr you ready? Prizes, pirates and treasured eats - next week is National School Lunch Week! Don't miss out on the swashbuckling fun.

Good Afternoon Parents & Guardians,
We are still working out some kinks with our Rooms platform so we can achieve an effective communication system between families and teachers. We know that some are having issues logging in while others can't see their students classes. Please utilize the attached website to help problem solve some of these issues as well as learn how to navigate the app. If you are still experiencing issues, please fill out the reporting form to notify us.
Thank you!

For the upcoming school year, all BCSD schools will use Rooms as their direct communication tools for parents, teachers, athletic coaches, club advisors, etc. Because Rooms is located in the Berkeley County School District mobile app, this streamlines communication and minimizes the number of apps parents and guardians need for communication. If you haven't already, download the BCSD app today and turn on notifications so you never miss a message.
