Attention Parents and Guardians of Returning Students for the 24-25 School Year: Parents and guardians of ALL returning students need to complete an online student update and provide TWO proofs of residency. This can be done through the Power School Parent Portal ONLY! You will need your Parent Portal username and password to complete this process. This required process allows you to enter accurate parent/emergency contact information, upload the required two proofs of residency, complete required annual forms/policies, and provide transportation information for each student enrolled in the district. What a fun day at HBE! Some of our first and fourth grade students were able to build their own vehicles and race one another down the ramp. They measured the distance traveled and converted their measurements for a fun day in math class!

As a way of continuing to promote child nutrition and adding to the many celebrations capping the end of the school year, Berkeley County School District’s Office of Child Nutrition Services will launch a special giveaway next week (May 20–24) that will offer some big prizes.
Elementary, middle and high school students eating lunch and/or breakfast next week will be entered into a drawing for prizes that include, but are not limited to:
*iPads
*Wireless earbuds/headphones
*Underwater cameras
*Projectors
*Action cameras
*Bluetooth speakers
Students will receive one entry into the drawing for each meal they eat. Winners will be drawn at random, and those who eat multiple meals will obviously have an increased chance of winning.
