Fans were treated to a thriller Tuesday night at Stratford High School in the Lower State Championship. Trailing 1-0, early in the second half, Senior Rodney Miller scored the equalizer for the Knights. 
Stratford and Ashley Ridge would battle through two overtimes remaining scoreless. In the first golden goal period, Vinny Teixeira sent the winning shot from 35 yards out to claim the Knights first Lower State Boy's Soccer Title in school history. The Knights will try to make more history on Friday. They will travel to Columbia to take on Fort Mill.
Send Off Information
Stratford is inviting anyone from the community who would like to participate in the send off to line Crowfield Blvd opposite the school. (Fire department side of the road) The send off will begin at approximately 10:30 AM Friday.
