As a way of continuing to promote child nutrition and adding to the many celebrations capping the end of the school year, Berkeley County School District’s Office of Child Nutrition Services will launch a special giveaway next week (May 20–24) that will offer some big prizes.
Elementary, middle and high school students eating lunch and/or breakfast next week will be entered into a drawing for prizes that include, but are not limited to:
*iPads
*Wireless earbuds/headphones
*Underwater cameras
*Projectors
*Action cameras
*Bluetooth speakers
Students will receive one entry into the drawing for each meal they eat. Winners will be drawn at random, and those who eat multiple meals will obviously have an increased chance of winning.

We are super proud to annouce that HMS has earned the SCBDA Outstanding Performance Award for the 23-24 school year. This is the highest award given to a band program in the state of South Carolina, and a testament to Mr. North's "heart and hustle" that he puts into his program daily. Go Hawks!

HMS Student Council is partnering up with The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to raise money. Our school’s goal is $2000. The fundraiser will run from Monday, April 15th to Friday, May 3rd. Coins, cash, checks (made out to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society) and online donations are encouraged.
